Our Domestic Policy is in shambles. We talk about the war on Drugs and Crime, but it is not working anywhere.
We need to set up a special task force similar to the FBI to address the out of control Gangs in America at all levels whether we’re talking about the Mafia, Black, Hispanic or Asian, some of which have been transplanted here from around the world, which bring nothing but higher crime and fear to the communities they control.
We have Police Departments that don’t go into certain neighborhoods due to fearing of what will happen to them, Detroit is a great example. How would you like to live in one of those communities and then listen to our leadership tell the American people we need to go protect this country or that, and leave our own citizens defenseless?
We have a solemn duty to Defend & Protect Our Homeland first and foremost and need a National Policy to do it enforced at State level and financed with some of the monies we now spend on Foreign Aid.
We lose more lives each year from gang and drive by shootings in the Streets of America than in Iraq and Afghanistan combined and yet no one talks about it. This does affect the rest of us and we need to talk about it and fix it.
The effects show up in higher taxes, medical costs, insurance rates, social, program costs, on and on, yet we have no policy to deal with it. This problem must be solved. It will not just go away.
If we don’t develop a plan to deal with this, much like we did with the FBI to deal with the crimes in the 20’s, then we’ll all pay the price, No American, no matter where they live or their financial condition should have to live in Fear, on a daily basis while we pretend to bring Peace to the World, when we have not Peace in our own Cities. It is time to stop telling the World how to take care of it’s problems and begin to Face our Own.
It’s time for those who decide to carry out crimes against our fellow citizens, with drive by shootings, drug dealing, robbery, extortion and more begin to fear US, rather than US fearing them. We live in America and we have the right to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness and it’s time we pass this on to all Americans, not just those who happen to live in higher income areas that don’t seem to be as affected by the crime directly, but they are paying higher costs of all types through more police costs, fire costs, and higher insurance rates.
In many places we expect to live with bars on the windows of our homes, and businesses alarms on almost everything, cameras watching us and much more. They tell us we’re safer, well I remember when the only place you found bars was in jail and alarm system mainly at banks and we did not lock our doors and we left the keys in the car. If you believe this a free society and yet live in FEAR then hopefully you’ll join me in trying to renew our spirit of love and trust in one another, then perhaps we’ll all be safe again. That can only come from a moral people with Virtue and no Tolerance for the behavior mentioned earlier no matter who it’s committed on.
