Alan Grayson - Strange behavior at family restaurant

Summary

A small group of Florida Republicans were meeting at a local family restaurant when Congressman Alan Grayson showed up and reads what appears to be an announcement concerning the event.  He accuses the people present in the meeting of spying.  He then got offended when he was interrupted and asked to leave. He finally leaves when he is again offended that someone is recording him.

  

Event at Perkin's

On April 8, 2010, the local Orange County Republican Executive Committee was meeting with Matthew Falconer, candidate for Orange County Mayor.  At some point near the beginning of the meeting, Congressman Grayson appears unannounced and uninvited.  He is reading from some paper which we can only conclude was an announcement of the event.  A conversation follows and the transcript and video of the event are given below.

...went to an Organizing for America event and she learned a lot from it.  She will share that with us and how to counteract their effort.  You will not want to miss this. It is so simple. You'll wonder why we all missed it.

He then makes the following statement to the crowd

Congressman Grayson then storms out, only to return later for a discussion with a smaller group.  He then confronts a woman using a phone to record the event and abruptly leaves.

 

Tom Tillison of the Tea Party Patriots Live radio show and the Orlando Tea Party, had quite a lively discussion with Alan afterwards for 10 minutes. Tillison said,

“I let him know that he’s a congressman and he needs to act like one. I reminded him that these are his constituents.” Don’t you feel that you at least owe them an explanation for your recent votes?”

Alan replied

I don’t owe them anything, they’re trying to defeat me.

The next day, mayoral candidate Matt Falconer who confronted Congressman Grayson at the restaurant released the following statement:
