Partisan Votes in Congress
The plots below show the number of votes in the House and Senate where a minimum percentage of representatives from each party voted in opposing manners. One line shows the number of votes where at least 60% percent of democrats voted in the opposite manner of at least 60% of Republicans. The other lines correspond to 70%, 80%, and 90% of the representatives. The pictures which follow those show the percentage of votes each year which meet these criteria.
