Healthcare:
The purpose of government is to do those things we cannot do alone. Government can encourage advances in medicine by supporting innovative medical and biological research efforts. This must include ensuring that healthcare technology is made affordable for all Americans. Like education, healthcare should not be the prerogative of the wealthy, but must be made accessible to all of our citizens.
