"Not ready" to drill

In response to President Obama's moratorium on oil drilling, State Senator Potter stated that he is "less interested" in a moratorium and more interested in investing in technology.

U.S. Senate candidate Tracy Potter, a Democrat and state senator from Bismarck, said he’s less interested in a moratorium and more interested in investigating technology and regulations.

“Apparently we are not ready to be drilling in 5,000 feet of water because there are safeguards we've overlooked,” Potter said.
