Rand Paul on Immigration
Dr. Rand Paul opposes amnesty for illegal aliens. He has called for the enforcement of immigration laws, and the enforcement of the original intent of the 14th amendment which did not intend for children of illegal aliens to be citizens. He supports Arizona's attempt to enforce the law.

Support for Arizona immigration law
In a video compiled by CN|2, Dr. Paul and Attorney General Conway state their views on the Arizona immigration law. Dr. Paul supports the law.
In a May 2010 interview with a russian TV station, Dr. Paul was questioned about immigration and stated that both parties are to blame for the problem. He also noted that incoming immigrants register Democrat 3 to 1 and that this causes a reluctance to enforce the law on the behalf of that party. He also states in this interview that the US should not grant citizenship to the children of illegal aliens. This statement caused some controversy and a full explanation can be found here.
