Summary

Dr Stein and the Green Party platform have a neutral stance on Israel and the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Dr Stein has stated that all parties involved need to be held accountable for their actions with respect to human rights and that the US should be as uninvolved as possible. In May of 2012, Dr Stein called for Israel to end to its discriminatory apartheid policies, remove the Separation Wall, institute a ban on assassination, move toward denuclearization, release of all political prisoners and journalists from Israeli and Palestinian prisons, a disarmament of non-state militias, and recognition of the right of self-determination for both Israelis and Palestinians.

The Green Party platform calls for the right of Palestinians to return to the US and calls for an end to settlements in the west bank and other areas.
