Campaign Website Statements

Our free market system of competition works best with the least amount of government intervention. Tax and spend strategies only hamper our system. Taking money from one portion of society to give to another is detrimental to both. We were born as a nation of producers and should return to those roots. Encouragement of small business will help us achieve this goal. I do not believe any company is too big to fail or that anyone including our government can spend their way out of debt.
We should reduce government spending in order to lower taxes and provide the American people with more disposable income. Charity should be left to the individual, community, religious institutions, or state but not the federal government.
