Protecting Social Security and Medicare

Social Security and Medicare are covenants between the government and Americas seniors who have dedicated their lives to building our communities and our nation. It is a commitment we are obligated to honor. While we must address the long-term financing of Social Security and Medicare, privatization is not the answer. Betty is committed to a bipartisan, responsible approach to ensure the long-term stability of Social Security and Medicare. The Alliance for Retired Americans has endorsed Betty and given her a 100% pro-retiree voting record, and she has been endorsed by the National Committee to Preserve Social Security and Medicare.
