Dr. Frye believes we must protect Americans’ Second Amendment right to own firearms while also keeping guns out of the hands of criminals and terrorists by fighting gun crime, reauthorizing the assault weapons ban, and closing the gun show loophole. To reduce gun violence, we need mandatory child safety locks, as well as the requirement of a photo license I.D., a background check, and a gun safety test in order to buy a new handgun.
