Voter Registration Deadlines

Jan 31, 2012 - NEWS
While the obvious focus has been on the Florida primary, that contest actually kicks off a series of presidential primaries and voter registration deadlines. The elections page shows calenders for both the presidential primary and the Senate, House, and Gubernatorial primaries. In addition to this, entering your zip code in the right side bar or viewing a specific House or Senate district race will show the election dates as well as the voter registration deadlines. Links are also provided to the appropriate site for each state to allow you to register, provided the deadline has not passed.
For starters, Maine and Nevada both have their presidential primaries on Saturday, February 4th. Minnesota, Colorado, and  Missouri follow this with presidential primaries just three days later on Tuesday February the 7th.Including Florida, that will be 5 states in a week.
Super Tuesday is March 6th. Febuary 6th is the voter registration deadline for Colorado, Georgia, and Ohio. Mississippi's deadline is February 11th, and Massachusetts's deadline in the 15th. Idaho's registration deadline is February the 17th.
There are other February deadline that you can check on through your zip code. Remember that some states allow for voter registration at the polls and every state except North Dakota requires voter registration.
